A pig farm located in the NSW town of Young, which uses methane from the manure of 22,000 pigs to generate electricity, has become the first project to be approved for the government’s carbon farming scheme.
Some might be turning their nose up already at the thought of renewable energy with such a reek, but at Smog we’re just happy that people come up with such amusing and inventive ways to solve the world’s problems.
